These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") given the use of yunhomestaging.com (the "Site"). This Site is owned and operated by Yun Inc. This Site is providing information on our staging, photography, and videography service. 


By using this Site and confirming service with Yun Inc, you indicate that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.


Intellectual Property

All content publish and made available on our Site is the property of Yun Inc and the Site's creators. This includes but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.


Sale of Services

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of services available on our Site.

The following services are available on our Site:

  • Home Staging Service;
  • Photography; and
  • Videography; and
  • 3D Virtual Tour; and
  • Property Website.

Home Staging Services will be paid in half when the service begins and another half when the service is finished,

Other Services will be paid in full when the service begins.


These Terms and Conditions apply to all the services that are displayed on our Site at the time you access them. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, description, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all services we provide. you agree to purchase services from our Site at your own risk.


We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order when it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.


Copyright and Usage 

All works produced for the client may be used by that client for general marketing associated with the current sale of the photographed property in accordance with local MLS rules. The client agrees that any usage of the photos by a third party, including but not limited to architects, builders, stagers, designers, sellers, or buyers, is prohibited unless approved in writing by Yun.


Third-Party Goods and Services

Our Site may offer goods and services from third parties. We cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of goods and services made available by third parties on our Site.


Payment

We accept the following payment methods for the service:

  1. Cash; and
  2. Interac Email Transfer.


When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.


If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.


Consumer Protection Law

Where the Consumers Protection Act or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.


Links to Other Websites

Our Site contains links to third-party websites to services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party website or service linked to our Site. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third-party websites before using these sites.


Limitation of Liability

Yun Inc and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any action, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses, including legal fees from your use of the Site.


Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site, you indemnify and hold harmless Yun Inc and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any action, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses, including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Condition.


Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Prince of Ontario.


Sever-ability

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent to invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal, and the rest of these Terms and conditions will still be considered valid.


Changes

these Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any charge to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.

Scheduling an Appointment

Clients need to contact Yun to schedule a service appointment by email, phone call or message. Yun will contact the client through email, phone call or message to confirm the schedule within 12 hours. Yun is NOT responsible for any loss due to a late response to a confirmation email, call or message. We schedule appointments based on our availability on a first-come-first-serve basis. Staging and photography services must Schedule as 2 different appointments. Our regular appointment openings are Monday to Saturday - 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. 

The twilight and night photography service must be confirmed by phone call, message and email only.
If you require a same-day rush appointment or servicing on Sunday or any public holiday, an additional charge will be applied on top of the regular service fee (i.e. CA$20). 

This does not include a rush turnaround. Please inquire for more details.

If a Yun photographer arrives at the property but can not access the property (i.e. lock-box cannot be opened or agent/owner does not show up) within 15 minutes after the booking, the Yun photographer will not be able to provide service at the time because they need to catch up with the next order without delay. On the other hand, if home stagers show up to the property but can not access the property, clients will need to face an extra cost for the transportation fee for the furniture by the moving company.


If this happens, you will need to reschedule a new appointment with Yun by calling our customer service at +1 647-886-8121. The client will be charged CA$10 (plus the travel fee if applicable. i.e., vehicle expense for staging) for any cancellation service to compensate.
If a return trip of staging or photography service is requested, there will be a minimum Return Trip Service Fee of CA$60 (up to 6 HDR photos) per trip plus travelling Fee if applicable. 


If the client orders more service items (i.e. HDR photos, etc.) priced more than $60, then the second trip service fee will be waived from the bill.  

Service Preparation & Turnaround

For photography service, our photographers are expected to be on time for your services. We will give you timely notice if there is any possible delay due to the traffic or other reasons. The service will be finished in 45 minutes to 3 hours depending on the number of items you order, so please arrange your time accordingly.


Please make sure the property is ready for photo shooting. Yun is not responsible for any improper landscaping or interior display during the shooting time. We are NOT responsible for cleaning and organizing the property, and we do not undertake any consequences due to the staging issue. 


Our photographers and technicians are NOT allowed to change any setup or move any item that is more than 10 kilograms or valued at more than $200 without the agent and/or owner’s permission. It is the agent and/or owner’s responsibility to ensure the property is clean and organized. We suggest the agent and/or owner of the property thoroughly de-clutter before our arrival.


 Taking off the personal belongings and daily stuff in the property as much as possible and keep the property clear and bright. Also, make sure all lightings work well so we can avoid the dark shadow. 


The following is a list of things you might like to check before the photography session:


Exterior

  • Clean landscape. Mow lawns and clear driveway. If the outdoor landscape is a powerful part of the property, please consider hiring a landscape professional.
  • Colourful flowers and potted plants always help.
  • Remove vehicles or keep them in the garage and close the garage door.
  • Tidy up tools, toys, and coil outside water hoses.
  • Tidy up the deck, BBQ area. (In summer), position outdoor furniture & cushions.
  • Make sure your hot tub is clean and full to ensure a good picture with the lid up.
  • Clean windows.

Interior

  • Please arrange for pets to be relocated during the shoot. Remove all signs of pets (bowls, rugs, pillows, toys). Yun photographers have the absolute right to cancel the appointment if animals are not properly contained on the premises in the property. The client will be charged $45 CAD On-site Surcharge per trip plus Travel Fee if the cancellation happens due to this reason. If Yun photographers/technicians/Home stager get hurt by the non-contained animals from the property, and without advanced notice of awareness to pets and animals, the clients (Agent and Owner) will be fully responsible.
  • Make sure that all light globes are working where you want to photograph - both indoor and outdoor. Even during the day, they will very likely be switched on for the session.
  • Clear kitchen countertops. Leave a maximum of 1-2 appliances per countertop area.
  • Empty bathrooms of toiletries. Polish windows, doors and mirrors. Toilet lids down.
  • Fix or replace blinds and curtains if necessary. It is tough to exclude those items from the pictures.
  • Declutter rooms and position the furniture in its best places.
  • Colourful flowers (fresh or fake) and battery-powered candles improve any scene.
  • Setting the dining table with your best dinner setting and candles if you like that look.
  • Remove all Post-Its, magnets, kid's drawings, personal photos from the fridge and walls.


Photo shooting times vary between 45 minutes to 3 hours for photos and motion videos, etc. On the other hand, staging time will be 3 to 6 hours, depending on the size of the property. If you require additional photos or footage at other locations (for example, parks, school, neighbourhood), there will be an additional fee accordingly.


Our regular photo turnaround is WITHIN 24 hours from the point of the on-site service. We can guarantee that the photo will be ready by the next morning, but we cannot guarantee the photo will be released on the same evening. Usually, the photos can be ready at around midnight, but it depends on the photographer’s workload. We try our best to release the photo as soon as possible, but we need to make sure all the photos are processed with professional colour correction and touch-ups. 

Travel Fee, Reschedule & Cancellation

While confirming the service with Yun, the quoted price has not included the travel fee. The Travel Fee will be charged if applicable, besides the summed quoted price. In case of Travel Fee is applied, Yun customer

service will confirm with the client about the Travel Fee amount before the appointment confirmation email, message or over the phone call.


For photo shooting, we experience a large amount of workload and a tight appointment schedule every day. Therefore, if you want to reschedule or cancel the service, please notify us at least 4 hours before your appointment time. Otherwise, an extra $29 Reschedule Fee or $49 Cancellation Fee will be charged. The reschedule or

cancellation requests must be submitted to us through email, message or phone call.
